Coolpad is a Chinese brand smartphone which was released in November 2016 and also available in Indian market. This phone is not special at design but definitely a good looking smartphone and a unique one because of it's triple SIM. This is not only the triple sim smartphone but there have been some other smartphones with the triple SIM feature like LG optimus L1 II Tri and Acer Liquid X2 but not all are released in Indian market.This phone is not a thinnest Smartphone and also it is weighing at 170 grams but still it is easy to use with one hand. Back panel has nice design with plastic finishing and at bottom of the back side you will see the speakers. At top middle of the back you will the phones rear camera. The power button is on the right side while the volume buttons are on left side and at bottom of the phone you will see a USB type C port for charging the phone and it supports for the fast charging . The back panel is made up with the plastic and it can be removed to show the battery, micro SD card slot and three SIM slot.
Coolpad Mega 3 has a 5.5 inch touchscreen display with the resolution of 720 x 1080 pixels at pixel density of 269ppi. The screen was so clear even in direct sunlight and at maximum brightness the display is little dull but the viewing angles were very decent. This phone runs on the Android 6.0 marshmallow operating system with the CoolUI skin. Coolpad mega 3 has 1.2Ghz Quad core MediaTek processor with a 2GB of RAM. This phone comes with a 16 GB internal memory and it can be expanded upto 64 GB through micro SD card. This phone supports for the 4G VoLTE so that it should be working on the Reliance JIO network. Come to the connectivity options, this phone includes with the Bluetooth, WiFi and 4G but the problem is that this phone doesn't support for the GPS, FM, USB OTG, infrared and NFC. This phone doesn't support for the Fingerprint sensor but this phone has some other sensors which includes with the Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and proximity sensor, this phone got very few sensors but these are enough to be a Smartphone.
Comes to the camera features, this phone has a 8 megapixel rear camera with the aperture of f/2.2 and it is quite good and you can get some decent pictures with this rear camera but still there is lack in detail. This phones Rear camera doesn't have any other features such like Flash, face detection etc and it is really disappoint for the camera enthusiasts. This phone has 8 megapixel front camera with the aperture of f/2.2, Both front and rear cameras are equal. Coolpad Mega 3 packs with a 3050mAH battery. This phone comes up with three different colors includes with White, Grey and Gold and Coolpad mega 3 smartphone is priced at Rs. 6,999/-.
As you can see this phone is not an expensive one and it comes at for such a low price, Since this phone is not an expensive one i think this phone has some very good specs but still they must at least consider the features of the phones camera and also about the GPS option. Totally this phone may not get attention due to the phones camera features but still it has it's unique one that it can support for the Triple SIM, This is the main advantage of this phone. If you consider about the more SIM slot phone and not interest in camera features then just go for it otherwise not a great option to Buy.
